Supply Optimizer and handling resource

Hi all,

I am using a copy of SAP4 to test the Supply Optimizer in IBP for S&OP and have an issue regarding Handling Resource.

I have a finite handling resource which is properly taken into account when I run the "Constrained Demand and Supply" but which is simply ignored when I run the optimizer (it works fine with production resource).

So, my questions are :

  - I have read that supply optimizer is supposed to take handling resource into consideration, is it correct?

  - Has someone already used handling resources with supply optimizer?

  - If it is the case, have you faced any challenge to implement it?
