Production order are scheduled over weekend too

Hi

I am facing a problem regarding production orders. The mfg time for the operation is 10 days and the resource is available only mon - fri.

So in APO, i expect the order to be scheduled over 14 days instead of 10. However, the produciton orders are scheduled for 10 days only.

I created a PPDS planned order and it is scheduled for 14 days, on converting to production order, it becomes 10 days. Any inputs.

Scenario 1:

Created PPDS planned order in APO. Operation duration is 10 days. System is scheduling over 14 days (4 days for weekend) (picture 1)

Scenario 2:

Create Production order in R/3, it schedules over 14 days (picture 2)

Check in APO

Its now scheduling only for 10 days. (picture 3)
