Folks,
We have a scenario wherein,During the first production heuristic run in APO, planned orders(open ones of the last 2-3 days)are rescheduled to the primary and some on the secondary resource within the 3 day production horizon. The orders prepared on the alternative resource is available for 17 hours in a day. Hence some of the orders of the third day move onto the fourth day if capacity is not sufficient on the 3rd day. This effects the SNP run that is subsequent to the production run which utilizes the same resource.
Currently, the Reschedule Heuristics is being run with the 2nd and 3rd days being entered by the planner manually with the resources in infinite capacity and scheduling all the orders in the morning.We intend to automate the process, can you guys suggest some alternatives?
