Needed some info on an issue we are facing in our project. We have a capacity leveling background job which keeps on failing with the error message- No Valid PPM/PDS found. While checking the variant, we zeroed down on one location product which has Planned Orders on one of its PDSes which is not valid anymore. Rest of the orders in the Liquid horizon are all on valid PDSes.
Question- Why is capacity leveling touching a planned order in the Extended SNP Production horizon (since as per standard SAP,Heuristics and cap leveling should both restrict themselves to Liquid horizon only)?
When we change the start date of capacity leveling horizon in the background job , the job completes successfully. However, shouldnt the cap leveling job restrict itself to level orders only beyond the liquid horizon (irrespective of whatever is start date in the variant)?
