With increasing recalls and penalties looming over almost all auto OEMs, it is becoming imperative that the product liability is becoming more and more serious business. With disparate systems and current tracking solutions, it is just impossible to effectively handle challenges associated with this complex issue.
There is a need to effectively track and trace parts that are on board vehicles as well as in warehouses belonging to OEMs, Dealers and Distributors. Please let me know if this has been done using SAP AII or any other solution.
