Kindly have a look at the business scenario explained below and do suggest how to achieve this in PPDS Heuristic run.
Product is MTS and we are using CDP.
We have two Mills say M1 and M2.
Input to Mill M2 is Output of Mill M1.
Both the Mill has 2 processing unit each. Say Mill M1 has processing unit P1 and P2 and Mill M2 has Q1 and Q2.
Case 1 :
Batches produce in P1 should be pegged to demand at Q1 and P2 Batches should be pegged to Q2 demand dynamically.
Case 2:
If P1 Batches are not suitable to Q1 demand then system should look for demand at Q2 and net off if found suitable.
Case 1 is achieved by having similar characteristics both at Batch (Stock) and Demand class. System considers this characteristics during net off and peg accordingly.
How to achieve Case 2 at the same time ? Can we control this programatically by writing some code in CIF EXIT ?
