Auto industry has a typical scenario of planning for options ( Engines, Color, doors) beyond a base model. we typically use SAP APO DP - CBF functionality to mange the variants. But we have few limitations like what if- Capacity correlation with demand etc
Can this be managed in S&OP.. This is very high level questions , can give more details if I have some pointers from the forum.
