We have a requirement for which I just need to check with the forum members that anyone has implemented the similar logic.
We are using MISL because we deliver all the items from one location. By standard SAP confirms the plant from the list if it has 100% availability but what we want is it should stop when it has 80% or more. This will allow the business to replenish the stock at that location instead of moving the entire order to a far away location.
Example -
Stock figures for material A
Location 1 0 PAL
Location 2 20 PAL
Location 3 40 PAL
Order is created for 22 PAL and by standard system will confirm the order at Location 3
Expected result is system to confirm at Location 2
We are able to achieve the results by implementing a BADI and changing the MISL results but the missing piece is system is not creating the remaining requirement for 2 PAL after confirming the 20 PAL at Location 2.
Please throw in your ideas if you have worked on similar case.
