Negative Values showing in forecast. Dis-aggregation issue.

Hello All,

We have a small issue with our dis-aggregation style and looking for some advice.

Here is the situation. Our final forecast is a sum of Budget + Key figure A + Key figure B. Out lowest level is @ Material level. Typically our forecast should look like this.

Budget200300400
Key Figure A-10-50-65
Key Figure B-2020-10
Total170270325

Lets say we have three materials and we made an adjustment in Key figure A. Then this is how our system is dis aggregating.

TotalBudget200300400
Key Figure A-50-100-150
Key Figure B-2020-10
Total130220

240

Material ABudget100120100
Key Figure A-10-40-75
Key Figure B-106-6
Total808619
Material BBudget100180300
Key Figure A-20-20-55
Key Figure B-64-2
Total74164243
Material CBudget000
Key Figure A-20-30-20
Key Figure B-410-2
Total-24-20-22

If we notice above, when there is no budget for Material C, the system is still dis aggregating the negative values to those materials and the forecast is negative. Ideally we need the system to be working this way.

Material ABudget100120100
Key Figure A-30-70-75
Key Figure B-1416-6
Total566619
Material BBudget100180300
Key Figure A-20-30-75
Key Figure B-64-4
Total74154221
Material CBudget000
Key Figure A000
Key Figure B000
Total000

When there are no values in the budget key figure, the system should not dis aggregate the adjustments made in key figures A and B for Material C instead make adjustments to Material A and B.

Please provide your inputs. Thank you.

Regards,
Rohit.
