APO 7.03 - TLB heuristic logic

Hi,

I am playing with the TLB heuristic and would like to find out the logic behind: how is the tlb heuristic splitting the qty of deployment stock transfter requisitions of different products into TLB orders.

example below"

Situation A

- Product of interest: 856686 with stacking factor 2 (prod master data)

- TLB Profile: max 66 floor spots

- straight loading used

- all products have the same loading group

initial situation after deployment run:
Product of interest: 856686: 241.500 PCs = 206 floor spots

TLB heuristic run for horizon 8-12.6.15:

TLB heuristics creates now 2 TLB orders:

First TLB order combines shipment of two SKUs:

87268 with 8.454 PC and 856686 with 133.980,00 PC.

The second TLB order combines shipment of two SKUs:

856686 with 107.520,00 Pc and 856720 with 5.922,00 PC.

Why is the TLB heuristic splitting the qty of the 856686 into two tlb orders?

Remember we have stacking factor 2 for 856686 and TLB profile with max 66 PAL. The other SKUs have stack factor 1.

I would expect to have one TLB order full of 856686 with qty of 133.980 (57 PAL)  + 107.520 Pc (46 PAL) = 241.500 PC (103 PAL).

this would mak use of 52 floor spots for 856686 (51 double stacked + 1 non-stacked floor spot) and gives still 14 floor spots free for the other 2 SKUs: 87268 (9 PAL) and 856720 (7 PAL).

thanks in advance!!!

best regards,

Pilvi
