Capacity Leveling creating surplus Supply if Rounding Value is in Decimals

Hello APO gurus

We are facing an issue with Capacity Leveling when we are using Rounding values in Decimals.

The issue is as follows:

1. We specify the rounding value in Decimals in the Product master data.

2. Heuristics is run and it honors the rounding value in decimals and creates a SNP Planned Order.

3. Next Capacity Leveling is run to level the Resource capacity and it splits the original order into multiple orders to take care of resource capacity consumption.

Now the orders that Capacity Leveling creates, sum of these orders should be the same as Total Order quantity created by Heuristics. Capacity Leveling should not create a surplus or a deficit.

In this case it is creating a surplus of one rounding value. That is the sum of all the orders created is more that the original order quantity by one rounding value. which is an issue.

For example in our case the rounding value set at product location is 136.080. The original SNP Planned Order created by Heuristics = 200037.6. Capacity Leveling split it and created four order :

Order 1 = 54568.080

Order 2 = 54568.080

Order 3 = 54568.080

Order 4 = 36469.440 (here it should have ideally created only 36333.60, but it created one rounding value more of 136.080

The surplus is getting created only when the rounding value is in decimals and working fine when it is not in decimals .

Please help.
