Shelf Life Planning Location Specific

Hi Guru's,

We are developing a solution for Shelf Life planning. The Product is a typical Bought In Food concept, where the SKU (FG) is being sourced from a Vendor/Supplier and deployed to various Depots across different geographic zones from the Plant.

Steps used to model:

CDP Classification activated, Batch Management indicated in the Material Master for the Product. Shelf Life Planning relevant Material.

Product CIF'ed from ECC and Product-Location parameters set in Demand Tab (to negate the sync of Shelf life data in all the other locations where ever the Product is extended or Deployed).

Scenario:

Total Shelf Life of the Product (A) is 100 days.

The Product (A) Reaches the Plant from Vendor in 10 Days after Production (Batch B1 having a validity of another 90 days).

There are 2 Depots one in local (D1) and the other (D2) on Foreign landmark.

Criteria for deployment to D1 the total minimum Shelf Life remaining on the Batch B1 should be 70 Days, and for deployment to D2 the minimum Shelf Life on the Batch B1 should be 50 Days (50% of the total Shelf Life).

Solution should be: The requirement for Product A at D1 should consume the Batch B1 until 70 days of the Shelf Life (from the day of Production). Where as the Requirement for Product A at D2 should not consider the Batch post 50% of the Shelf Life expiry of the Batch B1 (from the day of Production).

Look forward for your kind suggestions.

Thanks & regards,

NH.
