Fix a key figure by macro only at aggregate level

Hi Experts

I went though a lot of posts regarding the fixing of KF by using macro. Most of the post talked about using FIX_CALC for that purpose. But somehow, it didn't work for me. Maybe I was doing something wrong with the macro steps. But I was able to achieve it without using the FIX_CALC function as follows:

1. Create a new macro step with the desired period

2. Create a row of the desired KF and select "Value change with following fixing" in the data source.

3. Create a row of the same KF at next level of the previous row and select "Values" in the data source.

It did the job for me. However, it is fixing the KF at all levels.

I just want the KF to be fixed at aggregate level.

Can I achieve it?

Please help with detailed macro steps or an example will be helpful
