Dear Experts,
We are looking at using tank scheduling functionality on the DS planning board with SCM7.0 EhP2. One of the business requirements is that the same component can be drained from multiple tanks with a single order.
Example:
BOM for semi-finished product SF1 contains component COMP1 (1000 EA of SF1 require 10000 KG of COMP1).
With order A we fill 10000 KG of COMP1 into tank 1.
With order B we fill 10000 KG of COMP1 into tank 2.
Now we want 1 single order for SF1 for 2000 EA. With this order we want first to drain 10000 KG of COMP1 from tank 1 and then 10000 KG of COMP1 from tank 2.
Until now we have not found a way to achieve this. It seems that we can drain one component from one tank only for each order of the semi-finished product.
Does anybody know whether what we are looking for is possible at all? Tanks in advance for any feedback.
