How to display the UOM in the SNI Monitor data grid

Good afternoon experts.  This is a two part query.

I have been tasked with investigating how to enhance the SNC SNI monitor by adding a column which will display the Uom within the grid.  First question:

1.  Has anyone implemented this or know if a SPRO configuration/setting to reveal the UOM?

2.  In the PO Details section of SNC, there is a UOM button that will toggle the uom and qty between BUom and Order unit.  Has anyone implemented adding this button to the SNI monitor?

We are running SNC 7.0  (SCM 7.0 and ECC 6.0) - please let me know if you need further info.
