Hi!
Our organization went live some time back. SOP and MRP were configured and used/tested up to the QA Server for UAT etc. but never used on the PRD server. The configuration is there (of which I am not sure of) but the UAT scenarios I see go as following:
- A forecast is entered in transaction MC93 for an info structure Z_S602
- It is transferred to S076 through transaction OLIX
- Transaction MC75/MC74 is run to transfer this forecast to demand management
- Transaction MD62 used to check PIRs
- Then the plan is transferred to another version on MS64
- MD62 again to check/change PIRs
- MRP run with MD01
- Results are checked with MD04, MD06, MD46, MD47 etc
- Then MF50 is used for planning and scheduling
- Planned orders are converted in MF50 as well
- To check the planned orders we see MD04
- Capacity leveling, Planned orders to production orders in MF50
- Then execution and confirmation
What type of a system is running here? And the main question is: now that I want the users and the business to run the above process as it was designed on an already live system with open POs, Planned Orders, Production Orders etc. what steps should I take as prerequisites in order to prepare such a system for a first time run?
Currently, they are making POs and Planned Orders/Production Orders/Process Orders manually. They're using MF50 for scheduling etc but no MRP or SOP or demand management in SAP. What do I need to do before they can switch over to the above process?
Thanks!
