We are facing an issue in production system. We use 0MATERIAL as the infoobject in our DP MPOS. In OMSL we have maintained restriction on mat length of 5 for numeric material numbers.
Now suddenly we have observed that few CVCs though they are unique but the material number is not same , I mean one is a 4digit material number (1234) and another one is 00000...1234. The char length of 0MATERIAL is 18 and we are using MATN1 as conversion routine.
we have executed all the consistency checks in DP. MPOS does not show any duplicate entries. But in 0MATERIAL infoobject there are two entreis for same material , one is 1234 and another one is 0000...1234. In MC62 if we click internal format then for some CVCs it shows material number with leading zeros and for some without zeros , though the material number is same.
For the CVCs for which we don't have issues, for them in MC62 the internal format shows material number with leading zeros. This shows that for the materials for which we have problem they do not show leading zeros in MC62 once we click internal format button.
We would like to see all the material number in 4 digit as it was previously in planning book. The infocube from where the CVCs are created , it does not have leading zeros.
Can somebody tell me how we can solve this issue in DP?
