How to make Reason codes mandatory for saving data

Hello,

Reasons codes are used in planning views to capture the reason of change in data. These are optional fields in excel for user and without selecting any reason code and comment, user can save data.

Is it possible to define reason codes as mandatory field for saving data changes? How we can make them as mandatory fields? Please advice.
