Hi,
Semi Finished Part= SFP
Finished Part 1= FP 1
Finished Part 2= FP 2
Engine Used :CTM
Requirement: The supply of SFP should be proportionally split up in FP1/FP2 demand ratio at the end of entire horizon.
Example | Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 |
---|---|---|---|
SFP (Supply) | 100 | 150 | |
FP1 (Demand) | -50 | -200 | |
FP2 (Demand) | -100 | -200 | |
FP1 (Possible CTM Supply) | 50 | 75 | |
FP2 (Possible CTM Supply) | 50 | 75 | |
FP1 (Expected supply) | 23 (113*(50/250)) | 90(113*(200/250)) | |
FP2 (Expected supply) | 45(136*(100/300)) | 91(136*200/300)) |
In this case the end ratio of Total demands is (FP1 250/ FP2 300)=2.5/3
The supply plan given by CTM (consider equal priority on SKUs) is not desired because end of horizon it split up in equal ratio (125/125).
So the Total supply should be split up in 113/136 (250*(2.5/5.5)=113 & 250*(3/5.5)) but the plan should also respect the incoming SFP supply dates.
Open Questions:
1. Can we do this with standard CTM settings?
2. What is cleaner way of doing this in Macro Considering pre build/late build/on time supply from Semi-Finished?
Thanks,
Sai.
